A simple interface between the client's back-office system and their credit card terminal. The solution sums up the required invoices, applies surcharges and passes relevant references to the card terminal.

Budgets and Forecasts

Budgets and forecasts for a medium-sized businesses with turnover between £4 million and £10 million per year.

Output management

An integrated and automated mailing system to send out 150,000 items of correspondence economically and with minimal user intervention. The system has software from Neopost® as it's backbone, and interfaces with Microsoft® SQL Server® databases, a Direct Debit management system and a Credit Control system.

Credit decision workflow

A sophisticated decision engine developed to our clients specific requirements. The system is powered by a Kofax TotalAgility® business process management system and includes a COBOL interface in to an IBM® iSeries® (AS/400) server, as well as a practical web-based user-interface.

Our process is simple

We take a logical, common-sense approach. We know that every small business is different, so we'll develop a plan of action just for you.

Free consultation

We'll meet with you to discuss any areas of your business you feel could benefit from review.
We'll learn more about you, and tell you about us. At this point we're interested in your company size, structure and history. We'll also get a feel for the technologies your currently use.
This is usually less than an hour.

Discovery stage (optional)

We recommend that you have a broad review of your business' systems. It is up to you, but a high-level review may highlight other areas of your business that could benefit from reorganisation, automation or integration.
This process may take between one and three days, depending on the size of your business.

Investigation stage

We now learn more about the specific processes that could most be improved. We'll speak to the relevant teams, observe the processes in action and identify any bottlenecks.
We'll research potential solutions and present these to you. We'll quantify every solutions with an approximate business case.

Implementation stage

Your team may be able to implement our suggestions straight away. But we're also available to support you to implement any more complex solutions. We can provide project management, or recommend suitable suppliers.
Our work is not finished until your business processes are running smoothly!

Process review and improvement

A thorough review of your business by an independent expert will reveal more about your processes than you imagine. An Enterprise Assessment will highlight specific processes that are ready for improvement.

A one-off review of each of your key processes could then yield big returns by identifying business risks, potential savings and improvements.

For larger organisations, a series of regular systematic reviews (i.e. an internal audit function) may be more appropriate.
